Call of Duty  WWII is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision for a gaming community. It is the first Call of Duty series game to be set primarily during World War II since Call of Duty: World at War in 2008. The game was announced on April 21, 2017, with a trailer released on April 26, 2017, and set to be released worldwide on November 3, 2017.

Call of Duty WW 2 release date

Activision and Sledgehammer announced to release Call of Duty WW2 on November 3, 2017, for three different platforms, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game will have full support for both the PS4 Pro and the Xbox Scorpio. The Xbox used to be the console of choice for CoD players but now lags behind PlayStation 4. If CoD WW2 looks significantly better on Xbox Scorpio it might well start a swing back to the Xbox.

Call of Duty WW 2 Beta release

The Call of Duty WW2 beta begins on August 25 on PS4 and will also be coming to Xbox One, but not revealed. The person who pre-orders Call of Duty WW2 will get access to the beta – physical pre-orders will come with a code to redeem while digital purchasers will get automatic entry to the beta. It’s not yet known what maps or game modes will be included in the CoD WW2 beta, but it’s possible that new content will be rolled out as the beta samples.

Call of Duty WW 2  Gameplay Modes

The full reveal for Zombies mode in Call of Duty WW2 is expected after E3 2017. Zombies mode usually lets the Call of Duty teams to play aggressively, leaving the practical strategy of the standard campaigns.

Sledgehammer has finally revealed additional details about the Headquarters social space, stating that up to 48 players will gather together to challenge each other in virtual firing range and  1 on1 battle.
