Microsoft has recently updated the Windows 11 operating system for the beta testers and the build is coming with the not so welcome update on the board. The company is actually testing advertisements in the start menu of the operating system.
The latest beta version of the Windows 11 operating system is actually showing app recommendations that are essentially advertisements and the same appears in the start menu of the operating system.
Microsoft is actually showing the same in Recommended section and will be showing applications from the Microsoft Store according to the recent app usage. That means the company will be showing app suggestions according to your interest.
Thankfully, this can be disabled by heading to the personalization options of the operating system in the settings menu. It is currently available only for the beta testers and we believe that the company will expand the same to all the users of Windows 11 in the coming days.
