Poco F6 series goes official
The smartphone series includes the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro models. Both devices feature a 6.67-inch OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla variant features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 OIS-enabled main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the Poco F6 Pro comes with a 50MP OIS main lens, a 2MP macro unit, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The vanilla variant features a 20MP front facing camera and the Poco F6 Pro features a 16MP front facing camera. Both devices feature AI features like object eraser and more.
Under the hood, the POCO F6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile processor while the Poco F6 Pro comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. The vanilla variant features up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage whereas the Pro model comes with up to 16GB and 1TB RAM and storage. The Poco F6 series houses a 5,000mAh battery along with 90W charging on the vanilla variant whereas the pro model features 120W fast charging. The devices run on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.
Oppo Reno 12 series announced
Let’s start with the Oppo Reno 12, the device features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It houses a large 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. The device also features a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS (Sony LYT-600), an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with a 2x optical zoom. The device also comes with a 50-megapixel camera on the front. The device runs on the latest Android 14 with the ColorOS 14 custom skin out of the box.
Coming to the Oppo Reno 12 Pro, the device comes with the same display as the vanilla variant. The device also features FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a higher peak brightness of 1600 nits. Under the hood, the latest Oppo Reno 12 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device houses a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 80W wired fast charging. The device also features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom. The device also comes with a 50-megapixel front facing camera. Everything remains the same as the vanilla variant.
Realme GT 6T unveiled
The Realme GT 6T smartphone features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate that dynamically adjusts between 1Hz and 120Hz. It comes with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 mobile processor with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system with Realme UI out of the box.
The smartphone comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device also features a 32MP front-facing camera. The device houses a 5500mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging.
Poco Pad unveiled
The newly announced Poco Pad features a 12.1-inch 120Hz LCD display with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support. It comes with a massive 10,000mAh battery and the device features 33W fast charging. The device comes with the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage that can be expandable via a microSD card. It is running on Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS.
Poco Pad also comes with the Poco Pad Cover for basic protection and you can also use the Poco Pad Keyboard to increase productivity. The company is also offering the Poco Smart Pen as well.
Microsoft unveils Copilot Plus PCs
Microsoft is saying that the Copilot Plus PCs as “the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built.” The computers of this category will be coming with a new system architecture featuring powerful CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs. The computers must have at least 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD storage, and an integrated NPU.
The devices will be offering a full day of battery life and they will be loaded with next-gen Copilot AI experience that you will not experience on normal Windows PC.
Now let’s talk about the features of the new Copilot Plus, Recall is one of the biggest features and the same will be helping users to locate anything on the computer including the items you cannot able to remember. It will enable you to look for the items on the computer using next-gen Copilit AI experience and the same will be offering the needful clues that you can remember. You can able to search in natural language and Recall will also feature a timeline of all the things you did on your computer.
It is worth mentioning that the Recall will be taking screenshots of your computer activities and the same will be saved for future reference. It is also said that the screenshots will be stored locally on the device, and everything will be under control of a user.
Cocreate is another new feature and the same will enable Copilot Plus PC users to generate images by combining ink strokes and text prompts. It is said that the feature will work in almost real-time and make you feel like you are creating alongside AI. It will also come with a Creativity slider and the same will enable you to choose the final output.
Live Captions with Live Translation is another latest feature and the same will be capable of translating any audio on your computer into the English language and the feature is said to work in real-time and across all the applications. It also supports live and pre-recorded audio in any app or video platform in more than 40 languages and the feature will work offline as well.
Windows Studio Effects will help you to attend the online meetings in the best manner. It will come with the Portrait Light feature and the same will offer your face in the best manner even in low light conditions. You will be getting new creative filters, an eye contact teleprompter, and improvements to portrait blur and voice focus.
