The Mountain View company Google has officially announced the support for more regional languages for Gemini Live, and the same is actually available for all free Gemini users. It is officially announced that Google is rolling out support for Hindi in Gemini Live and the live voice assistant is available only in English language but Google is supporting eight more Indian languages and the same will arrive on Gemini Live in the coming weeks. The company is supporting languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu.
The search engine giant Google is also extending regional language support to AI Overviews in Search and the same is only available in English and Hindi but it will be supporting more languages including Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, and Marathi in the coming weeks. Google will also support video queries in Google Lens find this will enable users to record a video while speaking their query out loud.
Google is also bringing AI overviews to Maps and the same will be showing helpful summaries of places of interest to save time. The company is also adding two new weather-related alerts in India, including low-visibility areas due to fog and flooded roads.
