Nubia is expected to launch a new folding device in the markets as the upcoming Nubia Flip II. The important specifications of the device have been spotted in the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification. According to the MIIT certification, the upcoming Nubia Flip II is revealed to house a 4,225 mAh battery and it will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The device also supports 5G NR NSA/NR, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, as well as dual-SIM dual-standby mode, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, and GLONASS navigation.
The upcoming Nubia Flip II is said to come with a large secondary screen and the company has shifted from the circular design which was on the first generation model and now the company will be offering a rectangular design which extends vertically. The secondary display will feature a 3 inch AMOLED panel with 422 x 682 pixels resolution.
It is also revealed that the primary display of the Nubia Flip II will have a 6.85-inch AMOLED main display with 1,188 x 2,970 pixels resolution. The company has also updated the design language of the back camera module as the upcoming model will feature two cameras and an LED flash arranged vertically next to the cover screen.
The frame of the upcoming folding phone is believed to come with a rounded design and the phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The launch of the device is expected to happen next year.
