Along with the new folding devices, Motorola has introduced its new tracking gadget dubbed the Moto Tag and the device is a perfect Android alternative to Apple AirTags. The newly introduced Moto Tag will be offering enhanced precision and that is because of the support of the Ultra Wideband technology (UWB) and the device is also integrated with the Find My Device app. But it will not be available at the time of the announcement and it will be coming to the device in the near future update. The new Moto Tag features a circular body and the device also houses a multifunction button on the board.
Moto Tag is also capable to ring a paired smartphone and it is capable to capture pictures remotely. The device is also focusing on privacy as the Moto Tag features end-to-end encryption on the Google Find My Device network. The device can alert users regarding an unknown tracker along with manual scans. It also features an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and the device supports Google Fast Pair.
The company says that the device can offer a year long battery life and it also offers the capability to replace battery as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Moto Tag has a price tag of 29 US Dollar price tag for one, while if you purchase a pack of four then it will have a price tag of 99 US Dollars. It will be available from 2nd August 2024.
