The popular chipset maker MediaTek has officially introduced its new MediaTek Dimensity 8350 mobile processor and it is powering the latest Oppo Reno 13 series. The processor comes with advanced AI capabilities along with a 24% boost in gaming performance. The processor also supports 5G connectivity. Everything about MediaTek Dimensity 8350
The newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 8350 is an octa-core processor and the same comes with 4x Cortex-A715 cores along with 4x Cortex-A510 cores. The processor is based on TSMC’s 4nm architecture and the processor comes with a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz.
It also features the Mali-G615 MC6 GPU for the graphical task and the new MediaTek StarSpeed Engine that will be offering a performance boost of up to 24% compared to its previous generation. The new processor consumes 10% less power as well. The latest MediaTek Dimensity 8350 also features the MediaTek NPU 780 for on-device AI and the processor supports large language models (LLMs) with up to 10 billion parameters.
The newly announced processor also features the MediaTek Imagiq 980 imaging processor and the same supports 4K 60fps video recording with electronic image stabilisation (EIS). The processor also has a 14-bit HDR ISP that comes with intelligent image semantic technology. The new processor is capable of boosting video rendering speed by 6% as well.
It also supports 5G connectivity and supports both SA and NSA 5G with maximum download speeds of up to 5.17 Gbps. Apart from 5G, the latest processor supports WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NavIC connectivity.
